Calanda welcomes the sixth edition of the film festival dedicated to Luis Bunuel.

Zaragoza, July 28 .- The town of Calanda Teruel open next July 31 edition of the sixth film festival dedicated to his more international director, Luis Bunuel, nine intensive days of activities related to the seventh art.

"Festival 22 x Don Luis" is the name of this event, for which is scheduled to film projection, the awards, exhibitions, literary presentations, panel discussions, tera gold, and musical performances, says the executive in a statement.

The CEO of Culture, Ramon Miranda, today introduced the festival, which granted the Audience Award for best feature and short, and during which films were projected as "Story of a rock group of Juanma Bajo Ulloa "This is not love" by Javier San Roman, or "inland island" by Felix Sabroso Dunia Ayuso.

The festival will close on Saturday 7 August, with the premiere in Spain in 35 mm of "light trap", directed by Alfonso Arau and starring Geraldine Chaplin and Miguel Angel Silvestre, and with a film-concert with music composed and performed by Michael Bentz, to accompany the screening of the movie "The Hurdes."
